The Cornerstone Speech Therapy Team has been busy this winter! We are seeing children in their homes as well as at our Powell office location for speech and language evaluations and on-going treatment. We treat a variety of speech and language delays and disorders, including expressive and receptive language delays, articulation and phonological disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, language concerns secondary to an autism spectrum diagnosis or Down syndrome, social language difficulties, and more. The holiday season is officially upon us! Funny how time seems to move a little more quickly as each year passes; this year was no exception. It was another successful year at Cornerstone Speech Therapy. We continue to feel blessed each day by the children and families we work with. We are also beyond thankful for our talented, hard-working and just plain FUN team of speech therapists and support staff! Autumn is finally here, and we hope you all have been enjoying this beautiful weather! Things have been busy around here at Cornerstone Speech Therapy, and we wanted to share some of our favorite “fall” things with you all. Pumpkin Patches: A pumpkin patch is a fun fall tradition in it’s own right, but did you know it is an excellent place to work on speech and language skills?
