In a few weeks, Cornerstone Speech Therapy will be starting a new group, Toddler Talk, and there are still a few spots left! Celebrating Success!

At Cornerstone Speech Therapy, we celebrate every success, no matter how big or small. Here is a wonderful story from speech-language pathologist Stephanie Oswald, describing a recent success she experienced with a client: “I have a 6 year old with autism that I have been working on social skills with. He was having a hard time talking about what other’s were talking about or engaging with other family members because he would perseverate on what he wanted to do or what he wanted to talk about. One day we had a lesson on “changing your plan”. We used the following visual cue to help him learn that he needed to change the plan on his head by taking the old plan off his head and putting on the new plan.
