The Cornerstone Team
We are getting ready for another amazing year doing what we love- helping children and families! In looking back, we had a great 2014.We were thrilled to expand to our second location- Gahanna- and have been busy serving families at both the Powell and Gahanna offices since!
In 2015, you can expect Cornerstone Speech Therapy to continue to provide speech therapy services at your home or at our home-like offices. We are also getting ready to kick off our summer groups ( we can never seem to plan to far ahead). We will be running two summer groups this year in collaboration with our community partners.
“Social Bugs” We will partner with We Joy Sing to bring this social, language and music group to our families of young children.
“Insta#Social” We will partner with Central Ohio Behavior Consultants to bring this group to our families of older children. This group will focus on the ins and outs of social media and friendships.
We will be sorting out all of the details for our groups later this month, so check back in with us! Please give us a call at 614-973-9755 or send an e-mail at email@example.com if you are interested or have any questions.
We wish you all a Happy New Year!

Do you refrain from taking your family out to dinner because you worry about the special needs of your family member with autism (ASD)
You can feel comfortable taking your family out to dinner if it is at one of the Cameron Mitchell Restaurants or the Rusty Bucket Restaurant and Taverns in the Columbus area. Hostesses, servers, managers and kitchen staff in these restaurants (see read more for a list) have received training to support and accommodate the needs of families dining with individuals with autism (ASD). Accommodations include a gluten-free menu, Call Ahead-quick seating where available, and specially prepared orders of regular dishes when requested.
When taking advantage of the Call Ahead Seating at a Rusty Bucket Restaurant and Tavern please inform the restaurant that you will be dining with individuals with autism (ASD). They will help arrange a time most suited for your needs. Likewise, when you make a reservation at any Columbus area Cameron Mitchell Restaurant they will help with the same arrangements.

We have several ways for you to participate:
- Drop off canned goods and items at either of our office locations-
Powell Office: 7540 Sawmill Parkway, Powell, OH 43065
Gahanna Office: 1375 Cherry Way Drive, Gahanna, OH 43230
- Give your canned goods and items to your home-based therapist following an appointment
- Participate in our online fundraising campaign at:
Together, we can help families in need – each pound of food we collect provides a meal and every dollar provides four meals!

Ask your speech therapist for ideas if you need help!
We are one week away from the Fall Open House at our newest office location in Gahanna! Please join us October 18th from 10am-2pm for lots of sweet treats and speech therapy tips from our talented staff. Costumes are encouraged! All former, current and future clients are invited to attend, as well as any community members who are interested in learning more about us! Please RSVP to Angi Morris at 614-949-9668 or firstname.lastname@example.org. We hope to see you there!
